During the next 12 months our staff will be strategically survey and controlling these weeds across the greater area of Cape York by addressing the containment lines and outlying infestations. The project also entails the control of new infestations in accordance with CYWAFAP's rapid response program to ensure any new infestations of invasive weeds particularly Pathenium are managed. To report sightings of Parthenium in Cape York please contact our pest management officers on (07)40695020.
This project has been funded through Caring for Our County.
